More Music Mactodd Monday with Ray Blake, designed to ease you into the start of the week.
No special genre, just everything from 1930's southern blues, lashings of country rock (and maybe a hard-out country song as the mood takes me), plus driving guitar solos (think Eric Clapton, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix and Stevie Ray Vaughan), southern swamp music and its derivatives, always some Bob Dylan.
And not forgetting both sides of the Atlantic from the 60's and 70's whether the Beatles, the Stones, the Beach Boys or Janis Joplin or whatever enters my consciousness on the day. Then there's New Zealand music, maybe Delgirl from Dunedin through to local musos The Eastern, The Unfaithful Ways and our very own Carmel Courtney.
All tempered with the occasional news slot and an interesting after-9am guest. Not to be missed...he says modestly!
